Poland’s Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) has announced that the distribution of four Russian TV channels is no longer permitted in the country.
In a statement, it says that in accordance with EU regulations, NTV/ NTV Mir, Rossiya 1, Ren TV and Perviy Kanal can no longer be distributed by any means.
This includes cable, satellite, internet TV, online video-sharing platforms or platforms, whether new or pre-installed.
Broadband TV News notes that the ban is now in effect.
